EcoGraf has developed a proprietary, patented purification process that produces high purity graphite for lithium ion batteries without the use of hydrofluoric acid (HF). The EcoGraf HFfree® process, a registered trademark of EcoGraf, is a multi step chemical purification method designed to remove impurities while preserving the physical and electrochemical properties required for battery anode materials. As part of its broader strategy, EcoGraf is developing a sustainable supply of high purity graphite flakes, powders and battery anode materials. The process consistently delivers ≥99.95% carbon purity, meeting the specifications of leading battery manufacturers.
